Obituary of Blanche Elwood Wiggins

Blanche Elwood Baxley Wiggins, 77, wife of Winford R. Wiggins, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at her home. Born on November 1, 1936, in Kingstree, she was a daughter of the late Albey D. Baxley and the late Mattie Lou Scott Baxley. Mrs. Wiggins was a member of Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church. She enjoyed sewing, fishing and working in the house and doing yard work. Survivors include two children, Michael Wiggins of Greenville and Jeffrey Wiggins of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Tiffany Wiggins Lowell (Ryan) and Brittany Wiggins all of Georgetown; two sisters, Patsy Davis and Libby Baxley both of Surfside Beach; one brother, Leray Baxley of Kingstree; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Baxley. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Tommy Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Graham Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, P.O.
