Obituary of Woodrow Wilson Shelley

Woodrow Wilson “Woody” Shelley, 78, husband of Wilma White Shelley, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at his home.
Born on January 6, 1936, in Conway, he was a son of the late William Randolph Shelley and the late Sarah Ellis Shelley. Mr. Shelley was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and wood working.
Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; three sons, Aaron Shelley of Memphis, TN, Eric Shelley of Australia and Mark Shelley (Tara) of Georgetown; three grandchildren, Samuel Shelley, Jonathan Shelley and Alayna Shelley; one sister, Lunette Collins of Georgetown; one sister in law, Betty Jean Shelley of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one brother in law, Everett Dunn of Venice, FL; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Vassa Mae Dunn; and two brothers, Lex Shelley and Herman Shelley.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Rev. Ted Sherrill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Graham Funeral Home.
