Obituary of Nicholas Morris

Nicholas "Nick" Christopher Morris, 31, husband of Cindy B. Morris died Tuesday, September 13, 2011.
Born on February 27, 1980 in Georgetown he was a son of Robert "Peewee" David Morris and Karen Roberts Morris. Nick was a graduate of Andrews High School, employed by 3D Metal Works and was a member of John’s Lake Hunting Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding four wheelers. Nick enjoyed spending time with his children, nieces, nephews and other family members and will be missed by all who loved him.
Survivors include his wife, mother and father all of Andrews; three children, Sydnee Young, Savanna Player and Wyatt Morris all of Andrews; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Roberts of Johnsonville; a sister, Chasity D. Morris of Andrews; a brother Rufus B. Morris III (Nate’)of Andrews; 9 nieces, Cierston Morris, Kaliegh Morris, Joni Howell, Ashley Baker, Hailey Barron, Mandy Powell, Faith Lambert, Priscilla Bone, and Cortley Bone; 8 nephews, Benjamin Morris IV, Dustin Walters, Jason Atkinson, William Lambert, Shaune Powell, Tyler Powell, Jacob Atkinson and Patrick Gailey; father-in-law, Penny Bone; mother-in-law, Nancy Bone; a number of aunts and uncles; and his three shadows, Austin Smith, Dane Smith and Max Smith.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Winfred Roberts; paternal grandparents, Rufus B. Morris, Jr. and GlynDell B. Morris; and a nephew Christopher Logan Morris.
Funeral Services will be held at 5 PM Friday, September 16, 2011 at The Christian Fortress with the Rev. Geraldine Bednego officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Forest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Thursday at The Christian Fortress.
