King David Ryals, Sr., 64, husband of Avis Haselden Ryals, died Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at his home in Effingham. Born on July 11, 1947 in Williamsburg County, he was a son of the late William Randall Ryals and the late Mary Maudine Foxworth Ryals. Mr. Ryals enjoyed NASCAR, shooting pool and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of Effingham; two sons, King David Ryals, Jr. of Darlington and Spencer Ryals of Effingham; one daughter, Misty Ryals of Florence; two brothers, James Ryals of Florida and Clyde Ryals (Ailene) of Rock Hill; two sisters, Lueila Jacobs of Pawleys Island and Mary Jane Brown (Stan) of Elloree; five grandchildren, Christina R. Taylor (Charlie) of Lamar, Angela M. Ryals of Lamer, Taylor D. Ryals of Florence, Spencer M. Ryals of Florence, and Destiny Roberts of Johnsonville; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 4 PM Friday, September 2, 2011 in the Graham Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Leonard Cain and Rev. Buddy Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Graham Funeral Home. Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown is in charge of the arrangements. www.grahamfuneralhome.org
