Donald Dean Moore, 47, husband of Anne Ferdon Moore, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Waccamaw Community Hospital. Born on August 31, 1963 in Georgetown he was a son of Harry C. Moore and Aldean G. Moore. Mr. Moore was a member of Pawleys Island Community Church. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. Mr. Moore was a loving and caring husband, father, son and brother and will be missed by all who loved him. Survivors include his wife of Pawleys Island; mother and father of Georgetown; a daughter, Elizabeth A. Moore; a brother, Hal Moore (Susan) of Litchfield; three nieces, Chelsey Moore of Anderson, Rangeley Laney of Sumter and Maggie O’Briant (Patrick) of Hawaii; three nephews, Richie Ferdon of Georgetown, Steve Kornharens of Washington, DC and Jackson Ferdon of Bennettsville; and a great nephew, Mikey O’Briant of Hawaii. A Memorial Service will be held at 5 PM Monday, August 1, 2011 at Pawleys Island Community Church with the Rev. Don Williams officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to PICC Romanian Missions, P.O. Box 777 Pawleys Island, SC 29585 or to the ASPCA 520 8th Ave, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018.
