Randel Lee "Randy" Jacobs, Sr., 53, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA. Born on October 17, 1957 in Georgetown he was a son of the late Leavy Jacobs and the late Avis Lee Haselden. Mr. Jacobs attended Eastside Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Faith. He was an avid sportsman, loved the outdoors and was a member of Jacobs Hunting Club. Mr. Jacobs was a loving father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by those who loved him. Survivors include three children, Tonya Morris (Allan) of Conway, Randel Lee Jacobs, Jr. of Conway, and Melanie Houke (Rae) of Myrtle Beach; five grandchildren, Drake Morris, Lane Morris, Mykayla Jacobs, Hailee Grace Jacobs and Raeleigh Houke; two special aunts, Betty Haynes of Murrells Inlet and Idell Haselden of Conway; two special nieces, Dawn Millard of NC and Leighann Burdette of TX; a special cousin, Roger Jacobs of Georgetown; a best friend, John Lambert of Georgetown; and many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Carlton "Jake" Jacobs. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Eastside Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Faith with the Rev. Raymond Haselden and Mr. David Poston officiating. Burial will follow in the Hucksfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Friday at Graham Funeral Home.
