Obituary of Milton Martin

Milton Keith Martin, 74, husband of Patricia Braswell Martin, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 at his home. Born on March 21, 1937, in Conway, he was a son of Flora Sue Jackson Martin and the late Jessie E. Martin. Mr. Martin was a member of First Baptist Church and was a retired wildlife supervisor with International Paper Company. He was also an avid bass fisherman and was a member of the Tidewater Bass Club. Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; his mother of Murrells Inlet; mother in law, Lillian Braswell of Georgetown; two children, Greg Martin and Marisa Cooper both of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Tori Bowers (Robert) of Charleston and Keith Martin, Madison Cooper and Jarrett Cooper all of Georgetown; two great grandchildren, Brayden Bowers and Everett Bowers both of Charleston; one brother, Roger Martin (Betty) of Myrtle Beach; three sisters, Linda Singleton of Myrtle Beach, Sandra Garrell of Surfside Beach and Judy Ballard of Conway; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, DeeDee Martin. Funeral Services will be held at 2PM Sunday, January 29, 2012 at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Sherrill and Rev. Ralph Greg officiating. Burial will be at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Brinson, GA on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 2 PM. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Saturday at Graham Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church 219 Cleland St. Georgetown, SC 29440 or Tidelands Community Hospice 2591 N.
