Obituary of Geraldine Causey

Geraldine Barnhill Causey, 78, widow of John Hoyt Causey died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at her home. Born on February 1, 1933 in Conway she was a daughter of the late Doc Champion Barnhill and the late Idell Johnson Barnhill. Mrs. Causey was a member of First Assembly of God. Survivors include three children, Larry Causey (Denise) of Spartanburg, Barry Causey (Catherine) of Georgetown and Teresa Michau of Georgetown; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Dwight Barnhill of Black Mountain, NC; three sisters, Mildren Fesler of Goose Creek, Ann Zurcher of Georgetown and Janice Howell of Georgetown; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Johnny Causey; one sister, Vivian Martin; and one brother, Doc C. Barnhill, Jr. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at First Assembly of God with the Rev. Dave Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gadens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Graham Funeral Home. Memorial may be made to National Association for Down Syndrome, P.O Box 206, Wilmette, IL 60091.
