O. E. "Bud" Lunsford, 81, widower of Marilyn Simpson Lunsford, died on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Prince George Health Care Center. Born on July 26, 1929 in Weaverville, NC he was a son of the late Orph Elmore Lunsford and the late Leona Maney Lunsford. Mr. Lunsford founded Georgetown Electric Motor Repair in 1962 and was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Survivors include four children, Cheryl Andrews and her husband Butch of Conway, Keith Lunsford and his wife Kay of Georgetown, Dawn Kanarish and her husband Jeff of Atlanta, GA and Alisa Lunsford of Surfside Beach; five grandchildren, Jason Carraway and his wife Wendy, Christi Rollins and her husband Billy, Kelli Lunsford, Brian Lunsford, and Katie Lunsford; one great grandchild, Jayden Carraway; one sister, Eloise Towe of Asheville, NC; and one brother, Fred Lunsford of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Stone. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Entombment will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Graham Funeral Home.
