Obituary of Charles Heurich

Charles Richard Heurich, 85, husband of Mary Callahan Heurich, died Monday, December 13, 2010 at Waccamaw Community Hospital.
Born on August 2, 1925 in Newark, NJ he was a son of the late Charles P. Heurich and the late Teresa Schweikert Heurich. Mr. Heurich was a member of St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church, was a past Grand Knight and a charter member of the Knights of Columbus for 65 years. He was a pilot as well as a Captain in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII, a volunteer with the EMS of East Hanover, NJ, was an engineer in Flexography and achieved the Elmer J. Voight Award for his patent
Survivors include his wife Mary Heurich of Georgetown; six children, Mary Troianello (Bob) of Califon, NJ, Charles P. Heurich (Chris) of Mountainville, NJ, Denise Anne Gower (Bill) of Pawleys Island, John Frances Heurich (Sally) Bethlehem, PA, Richard P. Heurich (Suyling) of Oxford, NJ and Gail Muller (Jeff) of Newton, NJ; eight grandchildren, Julia Cirelli Heurich of Stockholm, Sweden, Leah Troianello of Fairfax, VA, Danielle Troianello of Vienna, VA, Nicholas Heurich of Fort Bragg, NC, Brandon Heurich of Bedminster, NJ, Nathan Heurich of Bedminster, NJ, Jeff Muller of Columbus, OH, and Jessie Nester of Sussex, NJ; and three great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 17, 2010 at St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church with Father Ron Farrell officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Graham Funeral Home.
