Obituary of Beverly Ackerman

Beverly Lynn Hemrick Ackerman, 54, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014. Born on February 21, 1959, in Winston Salem, NC, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. Hemrick and the late Phyllis Hester Beeson. Ms. Ackerman attended Pawleys Island Community Church. She enjoyed going to the beach, watching NASCAR and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include three sons, Roger D. Ackerman of Georgetown, Joshua Ackerman of Georgetown and Jason Ackerman of Florence; four grandchildren, Alexa Ackerman, Brilyn Ackerman, Skylar Ackerman, and Joshua B. Ackerman, Jr.; two sisters, Marilyn Fenters (Jimmy) of Murrells Inlet and Renee Miller of Socastee; one brother, Kenneth Beeson of Andrews; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Ron Walker. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Beeson. A memorial service will be held at 5 PM Saturday, February 22, 2014 in the Graham Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown is in charge of the arrangements. www.grahamfuneralhome.org
