Kathleen Vogel Allen, 87, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at her home.
Born on August 5, 1926, in Washington, DC, she was a daughter of the late Jacob Vogel and the late Mary Rollins Vogel. Mrs. Allen was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, F. Harris Allen of Georgetown; four children, Stephen Allen of Stone Mountain, GA, Lois Allen of Laurel, MD, Wayne Allen (Carol) of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Joan Allen of Laurel, MD; and a sister, Mary Trunk of Eustis, FL.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Friday, February 21, 2014 at St. Mary, Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church with Father Ron Farrell officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, South Carolina Chapter, 4124 Clemson Blvd. Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621.
