Obituary of Richard Noggle

Richard Dean Noggle, 57, husband of Susan Barnette Noggle, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Born on January 20, 1954, in Charlotte, NC, he was a son of the late Julius Blaine Noggle and the late Jane Marie Thomas Noggle. Mr. Noggle was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Battery White Camp, the NRA and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; three children, Jason Ferguson (Olicia) of Troy, NC, Erin Nevil (Scott) of Leesburg, GA, Erica Ortensie (Mathew) of Okinawa, Japan and close family friends April and Andy Pope; four grandchildren, Chloe Nevil, Riley Nevil, Ciara Ortensie, Grason Fer0guson and Sarah Pope, Abby Pope and Drew Pope; one brother, Blaine Noggle (Kim) of Iron Station, NC; one sister, Marie Holden of Hemingway; one nephew, Jeremy Noggle (Jessica); one niece, Jessica Noggle; one great-nephew, Christian Noggle; and two great-nieces, Danielle Noggle and Bailee Hughs. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Lee Holden. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any animal rescue.
