Obituary of Kelly Wilson

Kelly Marie Williams Wilson, 45, wife of Daniel R. Ackerman, Jr., passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on December 15, 1968, in Syracuse, NY, she was a daughter of Jacqueline Burdick and the late Kenneth Darwin Williams. Kelly loved the Lord with all of her heart and was a caregiver by nature. She enjoyed crocheting, taking care of others and had a great love for animals. Survivors include her husband of Andrews; her mother of Georgetown; three children, James C. Wilson, Jr. of Andrews, and Ashly Wilson and Lisa Howard both of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Cooper H. Hunt and Jonathan J. Howard; one brother, Larry Lambert of Georgetown; two sisters, Janet Berry (Oscar) of Oswego, NY and Jacqueline Sanders (Charles) of Georgetown; an uncle, Edward Bivens of NC; several half brothers and sisters; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Browne; and father in law, John H. Wilson, Sr. Graveside service will be held at 1 PM Friday, January 24, 2014 in the Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the graveside.
