Obituary of Murphy Cooper

Murphy E. Cooper, 79, husband of Virginia L. Cooper, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at his home.
Born on April 4, 1934, in Andrews, he was a son of the late John T. Cooper and the late Annie M. Davis Cooper. Mr. Cooper attended First Assembly of God and enjoyed building boats, restoring old cars and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years; and a sister in law, Alice Cooper of Georgetown; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters; and four brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, December 28, 2013 at First Assembly of God with Rev. Dave Hoskins and Rev. Geary Blakeley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to First Assembly of God Food Bank, PO Box 1627 Georgetown, SC 29442 or to a family in need.
