Obituary of Robert Morris

Robert David "Peewee" Morris, 58, husband of Karen Roberts Morris, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at his home. Born on August 1, 1955, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Rufus B. Morris, Jr. and the late Glyn Dell Blakely. Mr. Morris was a member of Piney Forest Baptist Church and John’s Lake Hunting Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, working and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of Andrews, two children, Rufus B. "R.B." Morris, III (Nate') of Andrews and Chasity Dell Morris of Andrews; a daughter in law, Cindy B. Morris of Andrews; six grandchildren, Kaliegh Blair Morris, Sydnee D. Young, Cierston L. Morris, Rufus Benjamin Morris, IV, Savanna A. Player and Wyatt David Morris; three brothers, Steve Morris (Marilyn) of Andrews, George Randall Morris of TN and Michael B. Morris (Annette) of Andrews; two sisters, Glenda M. Casselman (Bruce) of Andrews, Marsha M. Davis of Andrews; an honorary great niece, Kady Frances Morris; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins He was preceded in death by a son, Nick Morris; a grandson, Christopher Logan Morris; and a sister, Mae E. Morris. Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Piney Forest Baptist Church with Rev. J. W. Casselman and Rev. Murray Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Forest Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday in the Piney Forest Baptist Church.
