Obituary of Ranee Marsh

Renee Madison "Tiny" Marsh, 65, husband of Peggy H. Marsh, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Born on September 12, 1948, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Chester Marsh and the late Ruby Marsh. Mr. Marsh was a US Army veteran and was retired from the Georgetown Steel Mill. He was a member of Fireside Ministries and enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing golf. Survivors include his wife of Pawleys Island; two sons, Phillip M. Marsh (Stephanie) of Gainesville, GA and Paul R. Marsh of Georgetown; two step children, Joseph Watson of Myrtle Beach and Kelli Hyatt of High Point, NC; seven grandchildren, Dalton Marsh, Austin Marsh, Alecia Marsh, Hunter Marsh, Jordan Marsh, Jackson Marsh and Kelsi Hyatt; two sisters, Pauline Hughes of Georgetown and Sidney Smith (James) of Goose Creek; one brother, Barry Marsh (Kimberly) of Greeleyville; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Marsh; and one sister, Midge Wilson. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Fireside Ministries. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to be made to Fireside Bus Ministry, PO Box 1099 Georgetown, SC 29442.
