Edna Lynne Thompson, 61, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on September 4, 1952, in Georgetown County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas David Thompson and the late Pearlie Josephine Plyler. Ms. Thompson attended Andrews Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Faith. Survivors include two sons, David Lowe of Georgetown and Jon Lowe of Oregon; two grandchildren, Barron Lowe and Kaylin Lowe; two sisters, Dorothy McClellan (James), Emma Hathaway both of Georgetown; two brothers, Stanley Thompson and Mark Thompson both of Georgetown; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded on death by her husband, Glenn Lowe; and a brother, David Thompson. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Friday, September 20, 2013 at Andrews Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Faith with the Rev. Greg Cannon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Andrews Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Faith, 116 Gibson St. Georgetown, SC 29440.
