Obituary of Mabel Wrenn

Mabel W. Wrenn, 88, of Georgetown, died on Sunday September 8, 2013, the date of her 69th wedding anniversary to her late husband Billy Wrenn, at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown.
Born on February 23, 1925, in Mockville, NC, she was a daughter of the late John Wickliffe Woodward and the late Zelma Zeola McClamrock Woodward. Mrs. Wrenn was a member of Herbert Memorial United Methodist Church and was a retired bookkeeper having worked for Drs. Miller, Tiller, Quinn and Morrison and later retiring from Georgetown Kraft Credit Union. Mrs. Wrenn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and homemaker.
Surviving Mrs. Wrenn include two sons, William E. Wrenn, Jr. of Georgetown and Don S. Wrenn and his wife Crista of Muskat, Oman; three daughters, Jennifer Wrenn Mincey and her husband Mike Mincey, Lucy W. Wrenn and Robin A. Wrenn all of Georgetown; two sisters, Claire Bone of Columbia and Louise Collins of Mocksville, NC; three brothers, George Woodward and his wife Lib, Arthur Woodward and his wife Barbara and Rod Woodward and his wife Betty all of NC; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wrenn was predeceased by two brothers, Jack Woodward and Ike Woodward.
Funeral services will be held at 3PM Friday, September 13, 2013 at Herbert Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joe Woodward (nephew) officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
