Obituary of Faye Baden
Please share a memory of Faye to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Faye (Murrow) Kelly Baden, 65, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Tidelands Community Hospice House.
Born on January 29, 1946, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Lee Murrow and the late Elwood C. Murrow. Faye was employed by Job Corps of South Carolina where she aided in the placement of young adults into the work force or helped them further their education. She had a great love for her grandchildren. Faye displayed this love in ways to include going ice skating, sledding, shopping and even getting out in the ocean with them. Every time "Meme" came to visit was like Christmas, and her grandkids knew she would bring treats! Faye would lend a hand to any one in need, and lived life to the full, passionate and caring in everything she did. She had such a strong faith in Christ as her personal Savior and was a spiritual mentor to many and a friend to all.
Survivors include two sons, Brian Kelly (Denise) of Mooresville, NC and Matt Kelly (Elise) of Pawleys Island; five grandchildren, Emma Kelly, Grace Kelly, Lucas Kelly, Hayden Kelly and Taylor Kelly; two sisters, Roger Lee Jensen of Georgetown and Barbara Smith (Bruce) of Huntsville, AL; one brother, Linwood Murrow (Kay) of North Charleston; and a number of special nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2PM Friday, December 30, 2011 in the Graham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brad Dunn officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at 3PM.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care and compassion shown by the staff at Tidelands Community Hospice House.
