Obituary of Paul Miller

Paul Delmas Miller, Sr., 79, husband of Doris Hucks Miller, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on January 7, 1934, in Conway, he was a son of the late George Franklin Miller and the late Annie Ruth Todd Miller. Mr. Miller was a member of Ringel Heights Baptist Church where he served as a former deacon and Sunday school teacher and was retired from International Paper Company. He enjoyed many things in life to include hunting, fishing and gardening. Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; two children, Paul D. "Rocky" Miller, Jr. (Janet) and Karen M. Lambert (Edwin) all of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Dawn Miller, Sherry Morris and Joy Rush (Nick), Jericho Gause (Jami); eight grandchildren, Dylan, Dalaney, Kaylan, Jeff, Keri, Joshua, Blake and Christian; two sisters, Genevieve Powell of Florence and Eulean Lee of Conway; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Janice Lambert Gause; two brothers, Elmer Miller and Melvin Miller; and two sisters, Creola Lewis and Hazel Durham. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, June 17, 2013 at Ringel Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Johnson and Rev. Themos Cribb officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
