Obituary of Lucille Driggers

Lucille Cosper Driggers, 88, widow of John Steele Driggers (WWII veteran), died on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Born on March 31, 1925, in Minden, LA, she was a daughter of the late James Kitchen Cosper and the late Sarah Alice Davis Cosper. Mrs. Driggers was a member of the Myrtle Beach Seventh Day Adventist Church and enjoyed baking candy and cakes and also enjoyed fishing. Survivors include six children, John "Jim" Driggers (Carmen) of Orange Park, FL, Zola Driggers of Charleston, William "Bill" Driggers (Sherri) of Georgetown, Sheila Lawshe (Robby) of Georgetown, Alva Srour (Nadeen) of Redlands, CA and Sarah Parker (Donny) of Charleston; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alton Cosper; four sisters, Alva Driggers, Georgie Wrenn, Jimmy Wrenn and Louise Wise. Graveside Services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, May 23, 2013 in Elmwood Cemetery with Pastor Tom Hughes officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday at Graham Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Tidelands Community Hospice House, 2591 N. Fraser St. Georgetown, SC 29440.
