Margie Ann Tanner Parker, 68, wife of Francis Marion Parker, Sr., passed away peacefully on May 12, 2013 at her home. Born on November 6, 1944, in Williamsburg County, she was a daughter of the late William Houston Tanner and the late Lillian Harrelson Tanner. Mrs. Parker was a member of Eastside Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. Survivors include her husband of Georgetown; three children, Lisa Ward (Dennis), Greg Parker (Alicia) and Marion Parker, Jr. all of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Gregory Brandon Parker, Kayla Parker Mau, Francis Marion Parker, III, Daniel Lane Parker and Sarah Jessica Parker; two brothers, Danny Tanner (Ann) and Eric Tanner (Paula); four sisters, Nancy Stone, Sharon Eaddy (Timothy), Eunice Watson and Novalene Roberds (Larry); and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Vonita Coker; and a brother, Randy Tanner. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Eastside Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 AM – 1 PM Wednesday at the church. Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown is in charge of the arrangements.
