Obituary of Melissa Barfield

Melissa Elaine Young Barfield, 41, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Conway Medical Center.
Born on August 22, 1971, in Georgetown, she was the daughter of Elaine Elliott Young and the late Jessie Boyd "Dick" Young. Melissa was of the Baptist faith and lived life to the fullest.
Survivors include her mother of Georgetown; a fiancée, Tony Graham of Conway; a son Brandon Lee Barfield of Conway; a brother, Mark Edward Young of Socastee; one niece and a number of nephews, aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Monday, February 25, 2013 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Monday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
