Mary Kae Harrison, 59, passed away on January 8, 2013 at her home.
Born on September 5, 1953, in Columbia, she was the daughter of Mary Katherine Dunn Harrison and the late Dr. A. Franklin Harrison, III. Ms. Harrison was a registered nurse and was a member of the South Carolina Nurses Association. She enjoyed traveling and had a sincere love for animals. Ms. Harrison loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who loved her.
Survivors include her mother, Katherine Harrison of Georgetown; three brothers, Frank Harrison and his wife Susan of Lugoff, Brian Harrison of Columbia and Michael Harrison of Columbia; step mother, Joanne Harrison of Columbia; two nieces, Katelin and Mara Harrison, two nephews, Caleb and Justin Harrison; close friends, John and Sara Hardee of West Columbia; two beloved pets, Cammi and Kokoa; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
An Inurnment Service will be held at 2PM Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Brad Dunn officiating.
Memorials may be made to any local animal shelter.
