Obituary of Donna Rogers

Donna Michelle Rogers, 36, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Born on May 27, 1976, in Georgetown, she was the daughter of Franklin E. Rogers and Diane McConnell Rogers. Michelle was a member of Screven Baptist Church and the Beth Moore Sunday School Class. Michelle enjoyed many things in life including, NASCAR, watching the Clemson Tigers and baking. Survivors include her mother and father of Georgetown; fiancé, Steven Howard of Andrews; two children, Francis M. Parker, III and Daniel L. Parker both of Georgetown; three special children, Dylan Howard of Andrews and Davis Howard and Blair Howard both of Pawleys Island; one brother, Franklin E. "Sam" Rogers, Jr. (Jessica) of Andrews; one niece, Anna E. Rogers of Andrews; one nephew, Jase C. Rogers of Andrews; and five special aunts, Donna K. Shuler (Charles), Ellen Carter (Jimmy), Mary Cohn (Howard), Kim Phillips (Buddy) and Lisa Ward (Dennis). She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John McConnell and Frances McConnell; paternal grandparents, James Smith and Geneva Smith; and one uncle, H.L. Alford. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 28, 2012 at Screven Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Williams and Rev. Jack Todd officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Screven Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Tidelands Community Hospice House, 2591 N.
