Obituary of Myrtle Daniels Mcgee

Myrtle Daniels McGee passed away Sunday August 6, 2023 in Prince George Healthcare Center. A memorial service will be held 6:00pm Tuesday August 8. 2023 in Crossroads Ministries of Andrews. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00pm. The suggested funeral attire is casual and blue, Mrs. McGee’s favorite color. Born June 13, 1958 she was a daughter of the late William David “Billy” Daniels and the late Margaret Shelly Daniels Jordan. Mrs. McGee was a member of Earls Pentecostal Holiness Church and enjoyed going to prayer meetings with friends and family. She enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing and boating. Mrs. McGee loved painting and would put a fresh coat of paint on just about anything. She enjoyed time spent with her family enjoying her favorite treat, strawberry milkshakes. Surviving are two daughters, Amy Melissa Hardwick of Columbia, Emie Dawn Middleton (Bobby) of Andrews; nine grandchildren, Hunter, Allycat, Skyler, Christian, Lauren, Hayley, Danny, Avery, Tristen; seven great-grandchildren, BayBay, Lilly, Brooklyn, Logan, Kenzie, Brayden, Brandi; one sister, Joyce Daniels Tyler; close friends, Susie Dease of Kingstree, Bonnie Laird of Andrews, Rachel Wright of Andrews; and a number of nieces, nephews, extended family and other friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Joanie Danielle Thompson, a son, Scottie Bruce Tyler, a brother, William Chester Daniels, and a sister, Sandra Gayle Daniels.
