Obituary of Joanie Danielle Thompson

Joanie Danielle Thompson, 36, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at her residence in Bonneau, South Carolina.

Funeral Services, officiated by Pastor Allen Ard and Reverend Susie Dease, will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Earls Pentecostal Holiness Church at 1PM. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation with family and friends will be held prior to the service in the church sanctuary from 12PM to 1PM.

Born in Georgetown, South Carolina on September 26,1981, she was a daughter of Bruce Daniel Tyler of Conway, South Carolina and Myrtle Daniels McGee of Andrews, South Carolina.

Mrs. Thompson was a member of Earls Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a 2001 graduate of Andrews High School.  During her career, she worked at Trinity Christian Academy in Andrews and Next Step Rehabilitation. She loved spending time with her children and taking them camping, to the river and the beach. She was a wonderful mother who will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

Surviving in addition to her parents are; two daughters, Hayley Faith Thompson and Avery Grace Thompson, both of Bonneau, South Carolina; one son, Christian Ray Thompson, of Bonneau, South Carolina; two sisters, Amy Lomax of Georgetown, South Carolina and Dawn Middleton (Bobby) of Andrews, South Carolina; two brothers, Scottie Bruce Tyler of Andrews, South Carolina and Ira Sutton Tyler of Florida; a special aunt, Nana Joyce Tyler; a number of nieces and nephews; and the father of her children, Darrell James “Jim” Thompson.
