Michael Wilson Howard, 56, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Tidelands Hospice House. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 5PM in Graham Funeral Home Chapel. Born March 28, 1960 in Georgetown, SC, he was a son of Wilson Howard, Jr. and Elizabeth Ann Oyler Howard. Mr. Howard was a lifelong commercial fisherman and loved being out on the water. He enjoyed golf and spending time with his family and friends. One of his greatest joys was playing with his grandchildren. He was a beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother who will be greatly missed. Surviving are his three children, Michelle Howard Jordan (Bert) of Georgetown, SC, Scott Howard of Myrtle Beach, SC, and John Michael Howard of Murrells Inlet, SC; two grandchildren, Will Jordan and Nathan Jordan of Georgetown, South Carolina; one brother, Pat Howard of Murrells Inlet, SC; two sisters, Theresa Gilleland of Murrells Inlet, SC and Melissa Etheridge of Myrtle Beach, SC, his stepchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Henrietta Long Howard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tideland Community Hospice at 2591 N. Fraser Street, Georgetown, SC 29440.
