Mr. Blaine Lee Musgrove, Sr., 75, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Medical University of South Carolina. He was born March 10, 1941 in Westmorland County, Pennsylvania, a son of the late James Marion “Rip” Musgrove and Helen Iona Adams Musgrove. Mr. Musgrove was retired from International Paper after many years of service. He was a proud United States Air Force Veteran and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Locally, Mr. Musgrove was a member of the Swamp Fox Fellowship Riders. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping in his RV. He really enjoyed tinkering with projects and fixing things. Mr. Musgrove was the Captain in Charge and always had his pipe with him. A visitation will be Monday, September 26, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Graham Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in the chapel of Graham Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Surviving are: three daughters, Loretta Gail Miller (Allen) of Georgetown, Tammy Musgrove (Dusty Shaw) of Myrtle Beach, and Amy Lee Prosser of Georgetown; one son, Blaine Lee Musgrove, Jr. (Pauline Walker Musgrove) of Georgetown; three grandchildren, Sabrina Marshall, Tabitha Miller, and William Prosser, Jr.; one great grandson, Jam Jam Marshall; one brother, Willis Dale Musgrove (Adele); one sister, Donna Mae Kacik (Ronald), all of Pensylvania; the mother of his children, Dorothy Musgrove of Georgetown, his partner Betty Donnelly of Georgetown, special friends Paul Rhodes of Pawleys Island, Ed and Edna Jones of Georgetown, and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Musgrove was predeceased by two brothers, James Irwin Musgrove and Norman Dean Musgrove; one sister, Ilene Louise Eicher; and a very special grandson, his fishing buddy, Bobby Allen “Slim” Evans, Jr. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.grahamfuneralhome.org.
