Nilah Jane Groves Mills, 66, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at her residence.
Born in Kokomo, Indiana on April 1, 1950, she was a daughter of Dorothee Mary Nelson Groves and the late Floyd Leland Groves.
Ms. Mills loved yoga and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and her beloved cats.
Surviving are her mother of Johnson City, TN; one daughter, Jennifer Schmale; three stepchildren, Erin Mills (Bryan) of Blomington,IL, Abby Mills of Chicago, IL, and Camron Mills (Jacy) of Champagne, IL; two grandchildren, Abe and Jacob Schmale of Georgetown, SC; five step-grandchilren, Macey, Parker, Phoenix, Knight, and Jonathon; one sister, Linda Hammons of Johnson City, TN.
