Georgetown Ms. Lavonia Dorothy Perry, 90, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Tidelands Community Hospice. Ms. Perry was born September 11, 1924 in Horry County. She was a daughter of the late Rosa McCormack Davis and Zeb Vance Davis. Ms. Perry spent a lot of her life living in the Georgetown area and was a devoted member of the Georgetown Presbyterian Church. She was a cosmetologist and business owner for over 55 years and after retiring, she loved working in her yard and spending time with family and friends. Surviving are two daughters, Linda Mahaffey Rasmussen (Gordon) of Scottsdale, Arizona and Dianne Mahaffey Miller of Pawleys Island; one brother, Jeff Davis of Conway; two grandchildren, Allison Lynd of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Kelly Rowe of Charleston; two great-grandchildren, Ryan Rosenfelt of Chicago and Eric Nott of Albuquerque, New Mexico. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters, Katherine Moore, Pearl Thomas, and Francis Richburg; three brothers, Eugene Davis, Eulice Davis, and Jimmy Davis; and a granddaughter, Tracie Siau. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Graham Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.grahamfuneralhome.org.
