Georgetown Mr. Anthony J. Palazzo, 70, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mr. Palazzo was born April 16, 1945 in New York City. He was the son of the late Rosemary Cosentino Palazzo and Louis Palazzo. Mr. Palazzo was a Vietnam veteran that served in the Air Force as a F4 Pilot. He was a commercial pilot for a number of years and later retired from the Federal Aviation Administration as a Safety Inspector. After retiring, Mr. Palazzo enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, and outdoor photography. Surviving are: his wife, Margaret K. Palazzo of Georgetown; his daughter, Deborah Pettingill of Clearwater, Florida; two grandchildren, Edward Pettingill of Clearwater, Florida and Savannah Palazzo of Pennsylvania; a daughter-in-law, Kellie Munda of Pennsylvania; a former son-in-law, Guy Pettingill; and his beloved dog Shadow. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Louis Palazzo. A memorial service will be held on May 16, 2015 at 2pm at the family home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans of the Grand Strand #30 at PO Box 30637, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588-0011. Graham Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
