Georgetown Mrs. Dolores M. Rodak Maher, 82, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Maher was born May 11, 1932 in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. She was a daughter of the late Michael and Mildred Rodak. Mrs. Maher was a retired nurse’s aide who was a member of St. Cyprian and a long-time volunteer of St. Cyprian’s Clothes Closet and St. Mary’s Festival. She never spoke a bad word about anyone and was the light of her husband’s life. They were married for over 49 years. Surviving are: her husband, Gerald R. Maher of Georgetown; three sons, Martin (Laura) of Somerset, New Jersey, Mitchell of Passaic, New Jersey, and Michael (Melissa) of Westfield, New Jersey; two grandchildren, Sean and Steven(Dineen); one great-granddaughter, Madison; and one sister, Barbara Roedema (Daniel) of Saddle Brook, New Jersey. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Mark and her brother, Rudolph. A memorial service will be held at St. Cyprian on April 24, 2015 at 11am. Memorials may be made to Tidelands Hospice House at 2591 N Fraser Street, Georgetown, SC 29440. Graham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
