Mrs. Katherine West Scarborough, 79, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Scarborough was born May 28, 1935 in Bristol, Virginia. She was a daughter of the late Margaret Daniels West and Jack West.
She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are: her two sons, Dan Scarborough and Thomas Lee Scarborough (Carol) both of Georgetown; one daughter, Becky Alberts (Steve) of Athens, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Angie, Kevin, Jason, Isabelle, Gabrielle, and Abigal; three great-grandchildren, Kelly, Heather, and Coah; two brothers, Bert West of Florida and Jack West of Texas; three sisters, Joy Estrella of Virginia, Dianne Peschke (Gunter) of Florida of North Carolina, and Helen Sue Mapes of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Gordon West and Jimmy West.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
