Georgetown Ms. Bettye Ann Spruill Marsh Roberts, 85, died Monday, March 2, 2015 at her residence. A funeral service will be held Friday, March 6, 2015 at 2pm in the chapel of Graham Funeral Home located at 2200 South Fraser Street in Georgetown, South Carolina. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 1pm. Interment will follow the service at Sampit Cemetery. Ms. Bettye was born in Carrizzo, New Mexico on June 3, 1929, a daughter of the late Jack Jackson Spruill Sr. and Lilla V. Rogers Spruill. Surviving are: her daughter Teressa “Tammy” Foxworth (Ricky) of Georgetown; her son, Louis “Toby” Drew Marsh (Robin) of Georgetown; her precious niece, Sherry W. Britt; a sister, LaVern S. Gaddy of St. Charles, Missouri; a brother, Donald Ray Spruill of Crockett, Texas; 2 grandchildren, Shawn C. Foxworth (Elizabeth “Biz”) of James Island and Travis D. Foxworth of Georgetown; two step-grandchildren, Tracy F. Bishop (Cooper) of Fort Mill, South Carolina, and John Adam Hanna of Georgetown. She was predeceased by her parents, her siblings, Lilla V. Ruth Lovell, Jack Spruill Jr, Bobbye Lee Gardner, Nora Sue DeVore, and Ina Jean Spruill. Ms. Bettye was a homemaker known for her pound cakes and beautiful smile. She and her husband Jack Marsh, of 42 years, were owners and operators of Turkwing Apartments for 25 years.
