Obituary of Sara Jo Hartfield Prosser

Sara Jo Hartfield Prosser, 80, widow of Boyd O. Prosser, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at her home.
Born on December 9, 1933, in Florence, she was a daughter of the late Henry Hartfield and the late Clydia Cooper Hartfield. Mrs. Prosser was a member of First Assembly of God. She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family.
Survivors include a son, John E. Prosser (Charles Hill) of Garden City; four grandchildren, Brian Prosser (Heather) of Mt. Pleasant, Tracy Elliott (Juston Johnson) of Georgetown, Candace Bridges (Joshua) of Georgetown and Rosalyn Self of Georgetown; eight great grandchildren, Brier Prosser, Nevelin Prosser, Katelynn Price, Madison Price, Hannah Bridges, Joshua Bridges, Jr., Lillian Bridges and Kaylee Bridges; one sister, Grace Filyah of Florence; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby O. Prosser; one sister, Mary Lou Lambert; five brothers, Willie Hartfield, Billy Hartfield, John Hartfield, Eugene Hartfield and Mayo Hartfield.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at First Assembly of God. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Graham Funeral Home.
